WHAT TO EXPECT

Just Lead school leadership coaching is a ten-month program. Through one-on-one meetings and in-between practice, the program often includes:

  • Discovery and identification of your leadership needs and goals

  • Evaluation of the leader’s obstacles

  • Practice & assessment of newly learned skills and behaviors

  • Two meetings per month; either in person or by telephone

  • Unlimited access to phone and email support

FEES / BILLING

  • A ten-month individual coaching program is priced at $5,500 yearly, which is $550 per month, per client. Clients are responsible for attending the bi-monthly scheduled meetings. Clients are billed at the rate per month, if they cancel one of the two meetings.

  • The monthly fee for coaching is billed at the end of the coaching month and includes bi-monthly 45 minute coaching sessions, necessary phone and email support in between sessions, and quarterly in-person sessions based on location.

  • Once approval is received, we will begin the coaching process and establish billing procedures.

COMMITMENTS

The following commitments are critical to the success of the coaching engagement.

School Leader Commitments:

  • Explore changes in vision, values, and behaviors

  • Examine how your own behaviors, values and actions affect the systems in which you operate

  • Work in open exploration with your coach; help your coach to understand the forces of the organizational system

  • During the coaching process, take responsibility for your actions and remain aware of the impact of your behavioral changes on others and the organization as a whole

Coach Commitments:

  • See the school leader, their position, and the organization through multiple lenses and perspectives

  • Maintain an objective and impartial perspective by resisting collusion with the school leader or the organization

  • Recognize and appreciate the complexity of the organizational structure in which the school leader functions

  • Encourage the school leader to explore both long- and short-term views

  • Recognize the interaction of all parts in the whole—especially how change in one of the school leader’s behaviors may affect other behaviors and other people

  • Help the school leader distinguish between high- and low-leverage changes

  • Encourage commitment to the highest-leverage actions to achieve results
